Maggie and Jane would like to invite you to celebrate the launch of their latest book on Friday 11 September 2026, 6 - 8pm at UCL’s institute of Education (IOE), 20 Bedford Way, London, WC1H 0A

This edited volume makes an exciting contribution to very current debates about the future of English/Language Arts as a school subject in a range of British and international contexts. At the launch many of the contributing authors will introduce their chapters (starting at 6.30pm), and we will leave time for comments and questions from the audience.

Copies of the book will be available to buy at a specially discounted launch price.
